The Balkans is not the best place to be a sophisticated tea addict. In a regular supermarket it is common to find a green tea called “Green Tea”, a black tea called “Black Tea”, a few teas flavoured with fruits and berries “identical to natural”, maybe, herbal teas. While Dmitry is OK with coffee most of the time, Ksenia is an avid tea drinker. Therefore she was very happy to find a big tea shop in Cluj. The shop is called Demmers Teehaus and its address is Piața Unirii 9, Cluj-Napoca. They offer a wide range of tea, coffee, herbal tea and brewing gear for all of it. They also have sweets and syrups.

So far it is the only place where we found some proper Sencha tea. This is that type of a tea shop where most of the teas are sold by weight from big nice boxes. The sales assistant knew his tea and was very helpful. So if you are in Cluj-Napoca and want to buy good tea, this is the place.
